A 3-day summary

I came home to find that my room has been horribly mutilated. Gwash, my mom came in to my room while I was away for 8 days, doing me a favour by spring cleaning. So far I realised that I'm missing some personal sentiments, tonnes of expired coupons and one gold marker.

Streamyx is finally here! Through the miracle they call wi-fi, I can now surf the net in the comforts of my own home. Currently downloading all the John Mayer videos and Audios I can get my hands on. I think I'm going to enjoy this invention very, very much.

Of the past three days, I haven't been getting much sleep again. I'd work from 10am till 8pm at least and go back to Tmn Tun to help taste test the Quiche made for sale to MPH @ 1 Utama's book cafe, spend hours on the phone catching up with other people, teaching Lydia how to play the guitar and learning more guitar skills from my guitar god cousin, Chih Sheng. Some parts of the night were also dedicated to watching Animal Planet's 'Most extreme gluttons' and more sketching.

Work has become rather boring during the weekdays. I managed to sketch 3 full pictures on Thursday and Friday. I bought two sketchbooks in MPH one dedicated to the little folk and another dedicated to my favourite subjects, Dragons. My skills have improved slightly to say the least and I'm trying to explore every possibility I can by using the 'spot on technique' ( I can't really remember what it's called; but it uses the idea of concentration in an area to define depth)

Many people have told me that I've pretty much changed my shopping addiction. Vysia was the first to tell me so, she couldn't really believe that I only ended up with one dark brown Naf Naf spaghetti strap during the whole sale. Speaking of Naf Naf, I really wanted to have every colour of the lovely silky piece. The last day of the official Malaysian Mega Sale was on the 4th of January where they displayed a sign saying "Up to 50% off storewide!" Walked in, no good, the grey sequin bag was still over a RM100 and the top was still unchanged.

There goes my last chance of getting that bag and the top; or so I thought and hoped that they did want to clear their seasonal stock. But wait, 5th January onwards..."Seasonal clearance!" Hahaha bullshit, no change to the top but reduction to RM85 for the bag. Still NOT GOOD ENOUGH; too many tell tale signs that they aren't doing well with so many things still on the rack. They would definitely have a time when they will reduce the prices again. They DO want to clear of the seasonal stock AND the yearly stock.

I managed to get the bag and a ivory top at RM 39 each when they displayed "Final REDUCTION- 70% off!!!" Guess the top must be a controlled price item but heheh the bag...a good great big reduction in price. Had to buy it today because of the swarm off people in the store.

Back to being a different person, Hsu Pheen told me I've become a different person altogether eversince I started work. Yeah, I think so too really =D

Went out with Tim Chan, Alvin Choong and Amanda the other day when they came by to see me in 1 Utama. We had an argument about having dinner and using the obviously misleading coupons for Yoshinoya beef bowl arguing in the front counter on who should order what. Quite tempted to settle a lawsuit regarding the really misleading coupons that offered a side order for the price of RM1. No mention of having to order a set meal or any other purchase so I coulda just bought it for RM1. Taking note of what I did for Business Law, I realised that the coupon was an invitation to treat as mentioned in Fisher v Bell (Holy shit,...I remember this crap) and can't sue them cause I was making the offer. Damn.... Had a wonderful time gossiping and me and Alvin can really gossip. If Pei Ming were there... who knows when we'll stop!

After sometime, managed to finally grab a nice Iced caramel Latte with Hsu Pheen, gossiped. Went to Lydia's house by bribing her with an Earl Grey Tea and again gossiped somemore about Samuel and etc. =)P I miss having time with my girlfriends =D

Now all I have to do is get the contact lens that has rolled to the back of my left eye and catch up on much needed sleep =D *yawn*
